Before Exams

I guess this might be the last Blog before my exams which is 2 weeks away. (15 June to 25 June) 4 papers to go...

... And I am still working on reports due on monday. Coincidently, clashed with another quiz... That is why I am not online frequent lately. I would not be online for another month frequently.

Bought chicken essence that almost cost me S$30!!! But I got to make the investment. And I might get some other supplement as well... particularly vitamin C. Runny nose and blockage are killing me. I am so deprive of oxygen.

Looking forward to holiday. I will be travelling to Melbourne and Tasmania this winter. So I will be MIA again from 30th June to 11th July. YEAH~~~

Finally poverty days are over. I am still skeptical, not going to let it happen again. So I am setting up a reserve fund and save it up for rainy days or maybe holiday. That is the sad side of being oversea without family. I can't dig or borrow money from them.

That's about it. Rubbish shall end here. I got to study now. God bless me and dot's toe.

Cheers

Hail Storm

19th May 2005

This was the first time I ever experienced hail storm.

1730hr. I was still in Chemical Engineering computer laboratory, working on report with a Japanese classmate of mine. The sky was dark and there were lightnings and thunders. And then it rained. Nothing special, just like those pouring days in Singapore. But the Jap classmate of mine kept staring outside. He was disturbed by the "banging" noise. Then he told me he thinks it was a hail storm outside and he was right. That was how bad my sensitivity is towards natural disaster.

On my way home half an hour later, the sides of the road are covered with ice. So was my balcony, covered with beads of ice approximately 1 cm in diameter (average size).

It was one of the worst hail storm in recent years here, causing damages to TV stations and homes.

And I dont really realised how lucky I was not hurt in the hail storm. If I am not working on the report, I might be on my 20 minutes walking journey to home. Then I would be injured..

SEE~ That is how insensitive I am towards natural disaster.

It was icy cold last night~

Please Pass Me a Chopper

“不問自取,既是偷“

Have you heard of this before?

I almost wanted to kill this classmate of mine for "stealing" my work. It gets on my nerve if you take my stuff without asking. Is asking for permission that difficult? And can't you acknowledge me after using my stuff? I don't ask you to show your graditude, I just want either a permission or acknowledgement.

This is what happened...

During the 5 minutes break in between Thermodynamics lecture, I left my work on the table (after consulting lecturer about the assignment) and rushed my way to the washroom. Apparently, she can't think for herself and must copy what I did. Fine, you like to be copycat, that is none of my business, it just degrades yourself. Go ahead and consult the lecturer too, but NOT WITH MY WORK!!! F**ker copycat took my diagram, which I left on the desk, to ask her question. YES, I admit I am kind of a difficult person (I admit, and please let me be the way I am!). And I do hope you know what basic proper manner is (that isn't too much!!!). WOULD YOU DIE NOT TO ASK YOUR FREAKING QUESTION WITH MY DIAGRAM??? WOULD YOU DIE JUST TO SKETCH YOUR PLOT? And your diagram isn't the same as mine!!! If you are reluctant to ask for my permission, that is FINE. But would you mind to acknowledge me PROPERLY when I return? F**king copycat said this to me..."I asked Peter (the lecturer) about your diagram..He said it is all condensed phase...". Since when did I ask copycat to ask the lecturer about my work? And yah, are you trying to say I am wrong again? She was trying to tell me I AM WRONG. F**K, everyone is having condensed phase, so is yours (darn copycat don't know what is going on, still like to correct me!) . I gave her my cold shoulder AGAIN.

After photocopying my handwritten lecture notes, I got so pissed with her that I ignored her. In fact, I almost wanted to report her for my copyright! It was only till last week I treated her better. And here she goes again.

OK she is 100% condemned.

First Birthday Card

Adding on to the previous blog...

I have just received one of the best gifts I ever received today. A birthday card from Singapore, from my dearest sisters. This is the first time I ever received birthday card from them. As I read it, I cried. It is more than "touching". And I miss them.

Long distance has pulled us closer than ever. We started talking on phone, emailing each other. Though my conversations with my parents are always the same (kicked off with "Have you eaten? Is your health ok?" always!!!), I never get sick or tired to talk to them. I was never a "phone" person.

Or it could be the mishaps at home that adhered us...

And... I shouldn't have forgotten this as well...

This is the most expensive and "troublesome" gift from a friend of mine so far. A SPEAKER. This speaker keeps me entertained (without being deafen by ipod) nights and days. Like what I have been saying. This is a boring place. But this speaker keeps me alive. Thanks to my friend and the deliverman.

Life is amazing. The way we meet new people in our lives is like a marathon or relay. We are all linked together by something.

And the word "worthwhile" is not a criterion to cherish someone. It comes naturally from you, no matter what 'someone' has done of you. Isn't it so?

22nd Birthday

HAPPY 22nd BIRTHDAY!

I am abit skeptical on this day. In my memories, since I was young, I had been spending this day studying for examinations. It always coincides with the mid-year examinations. And sometime, I had examinations on this particular date. It seems like I am pretty cursed. Maybe I am. Then, on the 17th birthday, I spent the day without examinations. Hurray. But I spent with 2 blocks of wood...namely Raymond Tan and Emileo Ting at the Coffee Club Express located in Kinokuniya, after a dinner at some foodcourt. It was definitely not a happening day. But at least, not studying for examinations!

Due to popularity issues, I don't really receive alot of birthday gift like my little sister, whose birthday is on the 3rd May. I admit that I do get jealous because she really came home with bags an bags of birthday gifts.

Speaking of birthday gifts, I would have to say I received 2 wonderful gifts from the past 21 years. First of all was a present from this primary school classmate of mine (not Raymond Tan!!!) who delivered it to my house personally on the 13th birthday. Another one is a homemade birthday cake from someone last year (you know who you are). These are things that my little sister never has.

This year round, I am not studying for examinations, and the deadline for some assigment mend to submit on 3rd May has been extended. It appears too good for me. But I am going to spend 2nd May without my family around...

I am not making any wishes for myself this year. And I do hope that wishes of mine come true.

Thanks for your birthday card, Dorothy. And I do miss you.

Thanks again...

Shit I am older by one again.

Birthday Cheer
