Au Revoir 2004
2004 is a drastic year of change.
January ...
A new job and a contract bonding me for the next 3 years. I still don't regret signing the contract! I signed on the dotted line with much considerations.
April ...
The first time in my life that I fell and twisted my ankle. It hurts like hell! The ankle remained swollen for the next few weeks and spent me 100 over bucks! Yucks~
May ...
The moment I turned to a 21. An age which qualifies my rights to cast a vote for government, getting married without parents' consents... And no more worries at the cinema for R(A) movies. But please ask me to produce my IC though, this will flatter me! No cake for me. No party. All I have was a swollen ankle. Happy Birthday!
October ...
Hokkaido. Autumn. Run away in Hokkaido. My first time in Japan. Lovely weather, excellent landscape and softened my heart.
First horror flight and typhoon too!
December ...
The best Christmas gift I ever received! A scholarship. Though it vexes me, I am glad and honoured to be awarded with it. It still remains unsolved. When is the official letters and informations coming?
Sweet potatoes Christmas...
Earthquakes and Tsunami. Natural disasters kept this holidays unforgettable. Nature holds us in its hands and we long forgotten how helpless we can be. Hundred over thousands are killed now and thousands are still missing.
What else more can we say other than "God bless us all" !
Here we come 2005!
Cheers

Tsunamis
How vulnerable can human life be? Saw it in CNN.
Tsunamis. Who will expect that along the Straits of Malacca and Indian Ocean?
Honestly, I laughed. When I heard the Indians and Sri Lankan hiding in their homes when the tidal waves hit the shore. They are not living in concrete houses! Nasty am I? Yes I am. And my Indian Manager can be even NASTIER!

Sweet Potatoes
25 December doesn't really mean Christmas to me. It is the special day of a dear friend.
It has been years. She is always there preparing food and gathers us all at her place. She is an excellent cook, and plays with her creativity to display a night filled with Christmas. Her big, fat cat, ironically called Mouse, is always there, sashaying. And, yes, I enjoyed the moment the sticky tape was pasted on her back. SHE IS JUST A CAT!
24 December 2004. I enjoyed myself that night, even though nothing too happening happened. Dinner was great. Cheese cake is WONDERFUl. The x'mas card is nice, scribbled with words of truth that warms my heart (I always like longwinded messages on card!). Just that I was too sleepy. Barely opening my eyes while eating the hot and spicy Sweet Potatoe Dessert if you have realised it. I would be glad to stay overnight.. and do nothing... but chat through the night.
Let's bring Sparkler next year... and freak Mouse.
Err. I think those ginger in the Sweet Potatoe Dessert is mended to remove gas. But, apparently, my stomach is filled with gas till now... What happened? Too much sweet potatoe?
