Lost in Transition

No I am not reviewing the movie...

But aren't we all lost in the neons of the city? We are blinded. Where the hell are we standing? How are we living day by day? Are you really living because you are living so happily? Or are you living just because you are breathing?

Turn & Torn

Just as you think that you have achieved something with satisfaction. Think again.. Did you really achieved what you meant to?

I thought I have proven to people my capabilities and perserverance to accomplish whatever tedious work. Then, someone told me how flamboyant I am, questioned me if I notice how high my profile is. Is there a balance between this profile and my capability?

It strucks me badly. I have never thought of that. Is this what people think of me? Although I always say "don't give a damn to others" opinion, I know truly how hard it takes to ignore their sayings behind me. It affects me.

Now I am in the state of introspection. Think and think, keeping my mouth shut. I have 2 years, 3 months and 2 days left before my contracts with EDB ends. Wouldn't want to hold this high responsibility with this little position I'm in... Wouldn't want to upset all people being this flamboyant.

Life is such a twist.

Your bluntness is the greatest love

Frankly, I never like people being too good to me. Giving me that 101% of care and concern freaks me out.

Someone rode a bicycle from Tampines to Loyang to deliver my favourite food for dinner. That is pretty scary...

And maybe this is why I like my dearest Dot that much. She may seem like not treating me too well. But I know her way of caring me. Her bluntness can be so frank and honest which comes with that bits of sweetness and great comforts. And I like it this way.

Lesbian? Definitely not. But I still love you, Dot (no worries!).

I just hope that meal would not bring too much of consequences.

work, Work & WORK

Working life is horrendous.

I was pressed, squeezed and squashed. Drawings, drawings and drawings. 24 pieces over the 4.5 days. 0030 hr, that was the time I knocked off from work during one of these days. Tired? Yes. I am freakingly exhausted. Remember? I was pressed, squeezed and squashed.

I thought life might be better off when I got back from the Japan trip. Ended up, it got worsen.

And things I never thought of happened during these days.

That is another story...

Typhoon 22

Typhoon 22 ...

This is the most unforgettable part of my Japan trip. I brushed with death. This is what I really think seriously.

Tokyo hour 1630 at Narita Airport Tokyo. It was the hour and venue I was supposed to take off, to return to Singapore. But I was delayed because of Typhoon 22. Heavy rain and gust of wind... Freak out. Still aint that bad while waiting at Transit, it was when you boarded onto the plane... Good grace! The plane was shaking because of the wind! and the bloody plane is a BOE 777. I HATE SMALL PLANE!

Waiting on the plane for run way clearance was pretty much a disaster. I get a lot of images flashing in my brain. SQ006! What the hell! This was really freaking. I don't really want to think much. It just came naturally...

A minute or so right after taking off (while still taking off in fact), the plane PLUNGED! The plane met the typhoon current definitely. SCREAMS! "Praise the Lord!!!" was what I heard. My heart PLUNGED. This was not fun at all, like what we enjoyed on those roller coaster ride. This was scary. A matter of life and death.

PLUNGED! and the pilot tried hard to pull the plane up. The drastic elevation was not much better than the drastic and sudden plunge. While elevating, the current forced the plane down again. Up and down the plane went. Seeing the pillows to flew above us, the bag of Givenchy Perfume to toss above our heads (Did anyone got hurt by perfume?)

I seek for my sister's hand. I grabbed her tight and leaned on her. My legs were hooking the seat in front of me... My mind was blank. BREATHE. I told myself. BREATHE. I prayed hard. This could be the end of my 21 years shortie life. Would it be?

So close it seems.

And now I got a new angle viewing life.
